The PhD Lite allows you to choose specific sensors for the detection of CO or H2S when you have only one toxic hazard to deal with; or choose Biosystems' innovative new dual channel CO/H2S sensor to measure both carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulfide when both hazards are simultaneously present.
The PhD Lite is housed in a rugged, compact, metal-plated case designed to stand up to the most demanding environments. While all procedures necessary for day-to-day operation, including fully automatic calibration adjustment, are still controlled through a single button, the PhD Lite's large, easy-to-read graphics display and navigation keys mean the PhD Lite is even easier to use than earlier versions.

The Cannonball3 is designed to stand up to the harshest environmental conditions while delivering the quality and performance that you've come to expect from Biosystems.
The Cannonball3 can be configured to monitor oxygen, combustible gases and vapors and many toxic gases including CO, H2S, and SO2. With Biosystems' "Duo-Tox" sensor installed, the Cannonball3 can simultaneously detect up to 5 different gases.
The Cannonball3 is housed in a durable, double-gasketed, impact-resistant case that is completely sealed from the outside elements, ensuring that it will operate reliably in even the most demanding environments. Three different LED alarm lights guarantee that visible alarms can be seen from any angle. The graphics display is the largest in its class, making it easy to read even from a distance.
All procedures necessary for day-to-day operation, including fully automatic calibration adjustment, are controlled through a single button. Instrument configuration options and other higher functions are accessed with the four navigation arrows on the top of the instrument.

Biosystems PhD5 detectors may be ordered with or without datalogging. Datalogging PhD5 detectors may be additionally equipped with Biosystems' unique "Touch ID" automatic memory download system. The system uses small, nearly indestructable memory buttons to store user ID and location information for the environment being monitored. It even stores the language preferences of the instrument user. The inexpensive buttons can be attached to worker ID badges, key rings, or permanently mounted to the external structures of frequently entered confined spaces. All you need to do is touch the built-in reader to the button to automatically download the stored information. Keeping good records is a critical part of every confined space program. With "Touch ID" keeping good records is yours with the touch of a button!
