North Escape Breathing Apparatus (EBA)
When toxic gas starts to leak, every second counts in helping your workers safely escape the hazard. Thats why you can count on North Emergency Escape Breathing Apparatus. This full line can provide safe, comfortable, emergency protection for workers in many industries, including chemical, petrochemical, laboratories and paper mills. North offers three models of EEBA in five and ten minute units. Model 845 provides an average
of 42 lpm of air flow for five minutes, and the 850, 42 lpm for ten minutes. The Model 855
provides a higher average flow, 75 lpm, for five minutes, ideal where escape routes require high
levels of exertion. The 855 also feature a unique diffuser/muffler system to reduce noise
inside the hood. All models feature a hood made of durable polyurethane. This transparent
hood provides superior visibility. To minimize fogging, a deflector blows incoming air
onto the lens. After use, the hood can be detached for replacement or cleaning.
The cylinder is lightweight and refillable. In an emergency, the high visibility
carrying bag speeds locating the apparatus yellow for the five minute units and
orange for the ten minute EEBA.
